Question 96k Optical IO

Can a digital signal of the SMUX standard of the apogee be used with ADAT HD24 without trouble by 96k?

The HD24 will only do 96khz with the optional EC-2 A/D/A converter upgrade which also limits the number of tracks from 24 to 12.

Question

To the explanation of APOGEE AD16
"ADAT optical terminal operates in the S/MUX mode at 88.2kHz/96kHz time. "
It wants to combine this product and HD24 and know whether it is possible to use it with Optical/96kHz as being.

Are there combining someone's APOGEE AD16 and HD24 and using it?
