Ok folks,
I have posted my problem before but I have narrowed it down to a conflict with my video card. The reason I have decided this is because the problem gets slightly better when I turn the hardware acceleration down but does not go away completely. I tried everything on this suggestion page but nothing seems to be working. http://www.musicsolutions.com.au/art...ngwindows.html It does not seem to make sense that I get this problem with such a good computer. I have a PIII 700 with almost 300meg of RAM. I am using Cakewalk Pro 7 which was made before this type of computer was even invented! Does anyone have any good suggestions other than buying a new video card? I have a fairly cheap 16meg PCI card...I don't want to have to shell out for a newer AGP card right now because I don't have the cash. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks, Drew |

DrewMac24,
Did you also read the article that was referred to on PCI VGA cards: http://www.musicsolutions.com.au/articles/vgakill.htm Cakewalk also has an article on their website about PCI VGA cards: http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Docs/VideocardTips.html Did you already go through all this? If so, I apologize. You are right, that computer you have should scream. -AlChuck [This message has been edited by AlChuck (edited 07-18-2000).] |
