Hi,

I have a VS880 as master, Winman 4x4 I/O, CWPA5, and a P2 333. I know I should upgrade CW, but I wanted to see if I could fix a few problems first.

What is happening is this... I record in midi, then after a while, when I play back the sequence, it is at half tempo. The VS is transmitting MIDIClk because MTC produces the 1/2 tempo all the time. The funny thing is that when this happens, even the CW internal clock is 1/2 as well. The only way that CW will bring it back up to speed is when I hit the 2 tempo ratio. What is going on with this?

Thanks for your help.

cakewalk multiplies the tempo by the tempo-ratio to get the actual playback tempo. tempo ratio 1 is usually 0.5, and tempo ratio 2 is usually 1.0, which is normal. just use tempo-ratio 2.
