I feel for you. Maybe someone was playing with your computer. did you check the recycle bin? also check to see if the files are hidden if you know how.

Are the audio files in .wav format? they can be imported into a new project.

Good luck
I'll check back later

Thanx torpid, but I tried all that and they are in Cakewalk format. There's got to be a way to do it.

Which version of cake are you using? I thought audio files recorded in cakewalk were just ordinary wav files, albeit in a sort of hidden way by using a different extension for the filenames...

I figured it out. Al I had to do is go to each file and rename it. I just had to change ~ to a V to spell wav and it changed to an actual wav. It takes a while to import them all, but it was well worth it.

Good work, bblak,

That's what I thought, a simple transformation of the extension was all they were doing...
