How to move selections??
OK, I have downloaded and installed the trail version of n-track and I am trying out the program. Ive run into a small problem which probably has a simple solution but I cannot find it after a lot of searching.
How do I move stuff around in a track? For example: If I record myself counting 1 2 . .3 ....4 and I decide that I have counted too slowly, how can I edit it to be more like 1..2..3..4? Id like to be able to select the portion of the wav where I say 2 and then move it closer to the 1 but how can I do this? Any help appreciated. Sorry about posting such an idiotic question. |

You can cut out a portion of a track simply by selecting it and then cutting & pasting. You can then move the cut piece around using the move tool (the little icon with 4 arrows).
I hope your 1,2,3,4 thing was just an example though ![]() Slackmaster 2000

Actually I have a client who loves my voice so much they are paying me $1000.00 for a recording of myself counting from 1 though 4. Just kidding of course. Cut/Paste...Thats what I thought, cut/paste, but for some reason the cut/paste/copy commands would not work. I restarted my whole system and now cutting and pasting are working fine. Oddly, now I keep getting a crash in MS Word when I try to cut text. Very strange indeed. It might be some issue with my clipboard.
Thanks a ton for your help. -Cooney |
