Neve pre-amps

My brother has been raving about the Warm sound of the Neve boards for years. Are the outboard pres as good as the ones in the boards?

Not sure which board your talking about.
if it's an older classic Neve, the boards were frames, and individual modules were pluged into the frame.

Those same modules are being powered and rack mounted by third parties today, so, given that, it should be the same thing.
