Hello, I've been reading posts on here as I put together my DAW. Great stuff!
I have: AMD 700; 256 RAM Cake Pro Suite (with gigasampler LE) Midiman Delta 66, midisport 2x2 Aureal Vortex (that I bought on the cheap) Korg X-3 When I purchased the Delta 66 I did not realize it does not have a wavetable. As the sounds on the Vortex SUCK, and worse there is an unacceptable latency, I have been trying to record with the Korg only but I am having problems with random patch changes on playback, and the voice I selcet doesn't match the name in some of the feilds, like in the console view for example. Does anyone have some insight as to what the problem might be? Thanks, lefant |

Hi Lefant,
You probably need to load up an instrument definition for the X-3. I'm not sure if there is one available or not, but you can check by selecting Options>Instruments. Then click on the Define button. Then click on the Import button and load up the Korg.ins file. If there isn't a definition in there, you may be able to download one off of the Cakewalk (www.cakewalk.com) site.
