CWP 8 won't loop when slaved

When Cakewalk is set to "MIDI sync" slave, even though I have it set to loop, it completely ignores the loop markers and plays right through. When set to internal clock, it loops perfectly.

Is there something I can do to remedy this, or did the programmers not add this feature?

I'm using Cakewalk Pro 8.01. I doubt if it's of any relevance, but I'm using Fruityloops as the master.
