Can I go from a Korg D-8 to CW?

I have a Korg d-8 recorder with a SCSI out, and a Toshiba high end laptop with a SCSI interface. Does anyone know the most affordable way to get the songs from D-8 onto my computer? Will CW do it if I simply connect the two machines, or am I missing something here?

What about going from the D-8 to a CD burner... I know TEAC has a CD-R with a SCSI port... could I go directly from the d-8 to the TEAC or would I still have to go through the computer? Thanks for any enlightenment you all might have.
