Hey, all. Just got my MR-8 a couple weeks ago, but I have a memory card question.
I recorded 3 tracks on 1,2, and 3, then bounced them to track 7/8. The song's about 5 minutes long and I'm using the 128 MB flash card. In normal mode it's about 24 min of recording length, but I only had enough memory to barely fit in the bounce to track 7/8! Didn't have enough to convert to WAV. Does this mean there's only enough memory on that dumb card to record only 3 tracks and bounce? I tried deleting tracks 1-3 after bouncing thinking I could free space, but it didn't. What do I have to do in terms of memory (time) to get one simple song recorded and then converted to stereo WAV? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks |

The system has an undo file, it;s that undo file that is your undoing (lol). What you need to do is "delete unused" that will free up lots of space. (menu>song>delete unused)

You know its weird sometimes when I import Mr-8 tracks to my PC, I seem to have more room left on my card even though I have not deleted the tracks off of the MR-8 card yet. ANyone else experience this? Not that I am complaining

Thanks guys, I'll do that. I'm a home recording novice, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of all this stuff soon. Peace
