Lightbulb importing with sony MZ-N707

i recently bought a sony mini disc recorder only to find that the software included with it doesn't allow uploads of recorded data from the recorder. someone was telling me that there is third party software that i can upload with. to me this thing is pretty worthless unless i can upload. if anyone has any information to aid me i would appreciate it, be it a software patch, third party software or a conclusive "no, that is not possible my friend". someone was telling me that pyro has this capability, but i havn't found that to be true as yet.
thank you much

Hi My Name Is Darren.
I too have the same problem. I haven’t been able to find any third party software for my MZ-N707. I did find a link
To an petition web page, but it doesn’t seem to work ether.

Would you please send me a link if you find something? I will in return send you a link if I find something.

I also have a 707.

You won't find any software that allows digital uploading from the MD player to your computer. The machine simply can't do it -- by design.

The best you can do is a 1:1 audio transfer.

Edirol R1

Try the Edirol R1. It has a USB 2.0 out that allows uploading to a computer. It runs about $430 in the U.S.

I hear good things about iRiver. I hear they carry them at Best Buy. I haven't checked them out, though.

This site for minidiscs has a section on uploading recorders:

http://www.minidisc.org/uploader_table.html

Let us know what you end up with, especially if you look at iRiver.
