I have SONAR 1.3. Been quite happy with it. Can someone tell me if there are any advantages in upgrading to 2.0? I don't care for any cheap plugins...but is there anything of signifacance that can come out of 2.0 instead of 1.3?
Thanks in advance. |

New file system which allows you to save your audio files in "per project" directories.
Some new midi drum tools that are fairly OK. Probably some other stuff I can't recall at the moment. I've had Sonar 2.0 since March or April. I installed it on my second computer just to take a look at it and get familiar with it. Eight months later and I have yet to actually install it on my DAW (which is running 1.31). Maybe that tells you how important the changes were to me. I guess it boils down to how much you hate the old file system, and how much work you do with midi drums. |

Yes, I use MIDI drums alot.
Does 2.0 give you the capabality to control all drum elemets seperately? Doesit give you a more detailed layout of drums? Scattered? Thanks |

Paint rhythmic patterns in a single mouse stroke. Use hundreds of included Smart Loops patterns, or create your own. With support for custom drum maps, preview and create kits with real-time remapping that span multiple MIDI devices, multiple outputs, and DXi synths.
