PNY usb Flash Card reader for MR 8

I found a great usb Flash card reader at best Buy, a PNY for only us$15.00.
It works very well with Windows ME. Now I don't have to drag the MR 8 from room to room just to dump the card contents, or load it up!
Oh, the Wav Manager works very well with it, it recognises it with no problems!

Ah, but do PNY cards work? I saw another post where a guy said that the Lexar 12X works great - not the cheapest, but at least it's on every shelf.

Next pay day that question may be answered. (if I can talk the good wife into letting me perhaps waste a little money lol)

Do you know if CF cards are returnable? I recall someone got a sandisk from Musician's Friend that they wouldn't take back. I scoured the Best Buy return policy and didn't see anything excluding cards, but they come in that insane packaging that has to be totally destroyed to open - I'm sure the old "must have original packaging" clause would come into play...

Wonder if any 1 Gig cards work...
