HS2002 vs. Korg Triton LE

Can anyone verify that HS2002 can control via MIDI a KORG Triton keyboard?

Also, I am curios to know if the H2002 also support audio through the PC USB port.

Thanks

Yess... but depends on how you describe "control". Most of usual control can be done. Not turning off the power

Actually, I dunno. It's rare case of us using PC USB audio. What's your choice ? Why would you anyway ?

Ok...general midi (no power control accepted). Thanks.

Second...as for the USB...my audio interface is external to the PC...not built in. I access my audio interface via USB...that's for in and out. I was simply wondering if the Cakewalk software would be "inspecting" or analyzing the PC for resident audio cards or if one could simply "steer" the source and destination.

Thanks!

I'm guessing Cakewalk software inspects/analyzes drivers, not hardware. I don't expect any problems with an USB interface (except for possible latency issues)

No problem with GM. Although it's not written, both are full GM support... Even more.

For the USB, I'm with Pedullist. If you have the propher driver that support MME/WDM drivers, then you may expect it has no problem in HS2002.

Punkin, I sometimes use my Evolution k/board via my laptop USB port into HS 2002.

Talking Thanks everyone

I broke down yesterday and picked up a copy of HomeStudio 2002. I guess I'm committed (or soon to be) the the walking with cakes.
