I've been editing!
Since I'm showcasing my ukulele playing on the song I'm recording, and I haven't played guitar much in the last few years, what I did was record 4 guitar sections of the song I'm working on, an intro/regular verse, a verse with a break in it an alternate reg. verse and an ending. then, I added a washboard part to fit the sections, set it up in clubtracks, edited the song together following a pattern I set out earlier, and then saved it as a mono file, named tr02.wav. Now, tomarrow afternoon I'll put that back on the flash card, and I'll have a backing track all ready to go, all i have to do is finish with a little more percussion (I'm thinking wood blocks and a cowbell) add a touch of kazoo, and then record the ukulele part and I'll be finished!
Oh, just to let you know, it's a song from the '20s originally done by a jug band, that the Grateful Dead redid back in '67, called Overseas Stomp (the Lindy Hop) To be honest, I have learned so much from the MR8, it really is a very versatile tool! This is way too much fun |

KF, you are right at the top of my list. With any luck it should be done in a day or two. Unless, of course, I re do the whole thing all over again (I'm on my 5th version so far). *sigh*
