MXL V67
prices vary, but under $150 generally. Oh, wait! I meant to say, "That one over there in the corner. No, the other one!" -kent |

Check www.samash.com last time i looked they were selling the mxl V67b for $79.00 (or somewhere close to that). I don't personally own one but everyone seems to really like this mic.

Also check out the Studio Projects B1.
I read that www.bpmmusic.com is offering free 3 day shipping on it and it only costs about $80. The manufacturers website is www.studioprojectsusa.com You can also get a free listening CD from them that has this microphone on it by e-mailing them. Chris |

The Marshall's are $89.99 at mannysmusic.com. Got a shockmount for $19.99 too. I tried samash last week and the sales guy told me it would be 3-4 weeks before they got some in. So I tried mannys and got one of those black Mogami MXL V67B's.

I finally got to use the Studio Projects C1 tonight. No need to eq much of anything. The recorded piano sounded like the real piano.

The Marshall MXL v93 is pretty good, I have enjoyed mine. I can't remember the exact price, but it was less than $200.
It's good for acoustic guitars too. The song Alright With Me on my nowhere radio site recorded vocals and guitars with the v93 http://www.nowhereradio.com/artists/...=1642&alid=154 |
