Does full blown n-Track hammer you with pop-ups?

Just wondering-
Does the full blown version of n-Track constantly market you with sales pitches like the freeware version?

I might start-up multitracking with n-track as my first PC based tool. Or, should I save the $$ and start with SonarXL instead?

I've never had one pop up since Ive owned n-track for over 6 months...I'm kinda thinking popups would seriously glitch your recordings...

I never got any pop-up ads from n-track. Before I registered, the only thing I ever got was messages encouraging me to register whenever I closed the program down.

Did you get a "hacked" version somewhere??? That or your system has been compromised by something else.

I shouldn't say pop-ups, but DKMurphPr hit it on the head, those messages at start-up and close-down on the freeware version encouraging you to purchase n-Track. It also hits you when you attempt to use the compressor.

I just wondered if any further marketing efforts by n-Track interfered with your ongoing use of the full-price registered program. I don't even think I got around to registering the freeware version (if it was possible.)

So, to rephrase my question:
Are there any ongoing marketing efforts by n-Track that intrude on your use of the purchased and registered version of n-Track?

As long as your using n-track for what you registered it for you don't ever get popups. So if you registered n-track in 16bit mode and use it as such its fine. But if you try to use it in 24 bit mode, with it only registered as 16 bit then yes, it will ask you to upgrade to 24 bit.

The bottom line is if you spend the very few bucks needed to fully register this baby, you will never have popups. If you plan on using it without spending the money, as with any other trial software I've ever heard of, it'll probably tell you after a brief test to fork the dough over.

I think if its entry level software for you its a damn good buy you wont regret. The price is right, and you get free updates for life. Not to mention an excellent support staff, and a nice discussion forum over at fasoft for all of your n-track needs!

I may be wrong, but I don't think n-track is freeware. I think it is shareware, so if you want to stop being reminded to register, you have to register. Also, some of the plug-ins are bundled with n-track, and some you have to purchase. The ones you have to purchase mute every ten seconds or so, so you have to buy in order to use.
