HeadPhone Latency

I have massivly noticible Latency. I go out through my Aux outs on my mixer and through a really long snake and in to a headphone amp. By the time it gets to the Headphones its you can hear its not right. Does anyone have any solutions?

Have you tried using your "headphones out" on your mixer rather than the Auxes?

the length of your cable is not going to introduce latency, unless you are running cable from here to the moon. we're talking about approx. light speeds here.

if you are recording digitally, the latency is certainly being introduced somewhere in the recording chain, not the monitoring chain. Even if you have one digital device in the chain, you may be getting latency from it - especially if it is something like a compressor with a look-ahead function.
