Question Roland AE-7000 interface

i am fairly new to recording. i do own a AKG studio mic and a roland UA-30 interface and enough amps to record well. but i am looking into getting an interface that allows me to record more than one channel simultaneouslly. so i can record a band one time together and then be able to mix each channel seperatly on sonar. just checking if this AE-7000 actually does that and what is good in this area. thanks much for any help!!
