This could probably go in the Stupid question section. I have Cakewalk 7 and would like to know how to record/ and listen at the same time after I've recorded a track. As of now I haven't figured it out yet. (I did search this web site for an answer but...) Does this have something to do with the Sound Card I am using?

I've got version 6, but it might be the same in 7.
Under Settings/Audio Options click the Advanced button and check the box that says Enable Simultaneous Record/Playback. |

It could be related to your sound card. It must be a full duplex card to record and playback at the same time. Most cheap or soundblaster 16ish cards are only half duplex.
