Richie Monroe/Littledog collaboration

Hot damn! Well we've been looking for a mixing engineer for the current project, and Littledog and the wife and I met tonight and reached agreement in principle to have LD do the mixing for the current project. Well, if it sucks, don't blame him. He's just going to try to salvage my poor tracks. It'll be a few months, we're starting the overdub sessions around March, but it's coming. Seems like a good fit from the Homerec.com family.-Richie

Sounds cool. I'm surprised you agreed to his mandatory wife swap policy.

Well, Tex, I've seen pictures of LD's wife, and unless it's a bait and switch, I expect the wife swap will significantly increase the hourly rate.-Richie

Ummm, technically the dog is unmarried, although given the 10 year live-in relationship, in some states the common-law clause would have long ago kicked in.

It's always interesting to actually meet someone after only knowing their cyber-personality. The Monroe clan was exceedingly gracious, not acting in the slightest bit surprised that I wasn't the young dashing handsome and witty personality that my sparkling posts would infer.

They even bought me dinner (crispy duck, no less!) and humored me by listening raptly to my in depth recounting of the 30 greatest scenes from the "Zatoichi, the Blind Swordsman" series...

Should be interesting...
