Hello all!

Here's my dilema:

I've started tracking my drums for our recording project. I'm using a Layla card as I/O and recording with Cakewalk Pro Audio 8.

Everything works great, no problems recording.

Upon playing back my tracks that I've recorded, I'd like to see meter levels of my individual tracks. Cakewalk doesn't show playback meters on the individual tracks. It does, however show playback meters on the output channels.

The way I have it set up is all of my drum channels 1-8 output to Layla outputs 1/2. I run two 1/4" signals to my mixer and voila I have a mix. The output meters show me the levels of all the channels combined. I want to see them individually.

Can I do this with Cakewalk?

Any help is much appreciated!

One of the buttons in the console view will open up a little window and you can check off any track you want to see individual sliders for. You can only see VU meters for actual output devices though.
