Question prices for a recording studio.??????

i've been wondering what prices are for getting in a studio.

Yeah that's for the real places, but you can get an really affordable sound at a semi-profs place, like the ones of many people around here for say 40$ per hour or less.

Why don't you call a few in your area up and ask? It's not a secret - they'll tell anyone if they think you are a potential client.

Look at it this way: Are you a $40 dollar an hour band that might still need a few tweaks and a little polish, or are you an $80-$100 an hour band that's ready for a release?

Your skill(s) as a musician(s) should dictate what you should spend on a facility. Not neccesarily your pocketbook. Save a little more if you are ready for "The Plant".
