I guess you could use the extra outs to run a signal to.. uh... well.. uh... your washing machine or microwave or something. Damnit! why 8 outs!?!

Unhappy

with 8 outs, you can run it to a mixer and mix to DAT or even (gasp) an analog 2-track...

Question

who needs 8 ins? Not me. I need more outs for routing to my mackie for additional EQing and processing. 8 outs are just not enough.

Only people who would need more ins are people recording live instruments with multiple miking or capturing live performances.

Gina24 also has ADAT optical I/O so if you want to spring the cash for one of those heinously expensive converters you can upgrade to 10 ins and 16 outs - plenty for me.
