This is totally ridiculous but I cannot figure out how to configure my system to be able to record directly from my synth to Cakewalk.

My system is the following: Cakewalk ProAud9, Roland XP-80, SBlive and Darla. I am sending the Roland through a Behringer mixer with the mixer's Out going into the Darla's Ins. I can hear through my Mixer's out to the amp. but I can't figure out why the Darla's In monitor doesn't appear to be picking anything up. I'm sure it's a simple fix. Not sure if its my physical set-up, my multimedia configuration or my Cakewalk configuration...or something else for that matter.

I have to admit, as well, that I've never figured out the Darla mixer screen and am not sure as to whether something needs to be set there. I've been able to record from MIDI to audio and would like to think of myself as somewhat resourceful but I can't think of what's derailing the project.

Can someone please help me with this lameass newbie question. Thanks.
