i'm looking into the vm-200 and was wondering if you can use the adat i/o for 8 track recording into a daw and use the spdif for the stereo out of the daw for monitoring. Is there a manual online or one that can be downloaded? Any insight or a description of how you guy's are using it in your daw setup would be great.
Thanks In Advance JJ |

yup. I do it all the time. the vm200 kicks ass for the daw. after you record your tracks, you can use the vm200 as a hardware controller with over 100 motorized faders (depending on how you set-up)

JR#97 I saw in some other post's that you use nuendo and have the vm-200 working as a controller. Do you have the transport working also? Not a big deal if not.
Thanks |

I don't because the buttons you assign I mostly use for mute, solo, and channel select. But it is possible.
