MR-8 Mixdown

Hello. I am thinking of purchasing the MR-8. My question is this: as far as mixdown, the manual only covers using the analog L and R out or the optical out. I plan to use the USB out or CF reader for my computer, however, the manual only mentions using the USB to send a stereo wave file from tracks 7 and 8 or the whole song for back up. Would I have to mixdown , bounce and master tracks 1-8 to tracks 7-8 in order to send a finished song to the PC for cd burning? Or can I import all tracks 1-8 to the PC to master them and mix down using PC software? Any recomendations on which software? ease of use? Price? My only other consideration is to purchase a Tascam Pocket STudio instead.

go here, and scroll down to the bottom of the page, I think the "Wav. manager" is what you are looking for.
