Wink

been recording into comp HD with gina for sometime
wasn't much pleased, think the range ias too narrow ,always do 8tracks and still the mix can't deliver as much as i want
Will adding external mixer and DAT solve this problem?
what is other choice?
Can i use just roland VS880 or 840 instead of dat and mixer?
since i have to travel between 2 houses now
it'll more suitable
thnx

Have you played with the volume control applet that came with Gina? It puts a big "G" icon in your system tray. You can increase the sensitivity of the input way past 0 dB.
And it sounds pretty good even at +5dB. I use it to adjust each source so that the loudest signal I'll be sending to Gina is around -2 - -3dB.
