Your new card?!?!? Sheesh!
I don't have any personal experience with that one but I would run whatever Windows diagnostics you have, especially Norton. Check for interrupt conflicts...this is almost surely a hardware or driver-level thing. |

Hey Dragon,
i agree with you there There weren't any identified conflicts when I ran those utilities. Event says there may be a driver conflict with US Robotics 56K modems. So I'll yank that puppy when I get home and see what happens. I'll post the results, for everyones reference. Thanks again, oh Dragon master Conrad Josepi |

Just vun more ting, baybee (10 credits to the first one who identifies where that came from)...
Always make sure, especially with this bleeding edge stuff, that you have the latest drivers. In this case, they're at http://www.event1.com/download/4.05layladriver.html |

In this rare case, the hardware arrived with the most recent drivers available

While I wait for a response from Event Electronics, I though I'd tap into this buck o' knowledge.
My Layla card is causing my computer to randomly reboot while recording or playback. Any ideas? Conrad Josepi |
