Cool Sony MD/NZ-M1

Has anyone ever used the MD to record a vocal then tried to put the recorded vocal onto a track or used it as a sample?

Thumbs up Record vocal on my Yamaha Md-8

Why yes yes, last week I recorded a frend of mine . He played an electric guitar, which i put 2 mics on.. then we tracked his vocal parton track 3. Using the Behringer B-1 through the ART TPs pre amp i've got to say it really sounds sweet. I mixed it down to sound forge xp studiowhile adding the factory Digitech slaped back echo(real light panned to one side) on the voice.. mixed it down and burned a copy(CD-RW) for him as a demo. It was a real nice surprise how it came out... I say go for it..try and use good mics and pre amp as well. Best to you.
