Burning 48K audio to CDR from VS880EX

Greetings all... a quick question...
I've just recently finished recording and mixing a 10-month long project and would like to burn my work onto CDR from my VS880EX. Problem is I recorded all of my tracks at 48K and can't use my VS-CDRII to burn audio (the VS880EX will only burn audio tracks recorded at 44K through the SCSI). Is there a commercially available CD recorder that will allow me to burn straight from my VS880EX to CD while keeping everything digital? Or am I better off copying to DAT and dithering to a CD burner from there? Anybody got any suggestions?

I think you'd need to convert the music from 48k to 44.1k, because most commercial CD-players will only play at 44.1k anyway.

I'd master the music to dat, recording with a 44.1k sample rate. Then copy the final mix via the digital input back to your VS. Then burn from there.

The new Tascam CDRW-700 has digital inputs and an internal sample rate converter,so with this unit you could come out of the VS digital outs into the Tascam and do the 48 to 44 conversion before burning your disc.Most places sell it for $599.Cheers!
