VS 890

I was about to get a VS 880 this week, but I heard the 890 is coming out soon. Does anyone know when it is coming out and if it will list lower than the 880? Also, do most SCSI CD burners work with it, or do you need the one that goes with it? I have a smart and friendly turbowriter and was wandering if it would work.

musicians friend has it for $1599...i would expect some of the stores might drop the price of the vs880ex...sam ash has the vs 880ex for$1299 i think...as far as i know you must buy the roland burner....it's a bit expensive (~$600) compared to other burners...
