VS 1880 to CDR

After burning a Cd from the 1880 the completed master sometimes skips when played on other systems. Skips are not consistent. Any clue as to what step I'm missing? Cd's are burned at 4x, and works perfectly during playback on CDR.

Try burning you CD's at 2x instead of 4x. The original Roland CD burner manual mentioned that the write process was more efficient at the slower speeds. Good Luck!
