went to the mastering house

So I went to this mastering house the other day for a session...

And it was way cool.

I went thinking "ok, Im gonna lean a lot" which I did.. but not from where I thought. I thought I'd learn from the man, with his $20,000 Sadie rig... but he screamed straight over my head in about 5 minutes... and I ended up learning a lot from his MAGAZINE SELECTION.(!) It is really too bad.. for me. I tried to keep up... but couldnt. I think Steinberg really modeled Wavelab after the Sadie Software, though.

Great times.

a tidbit: Did you know.. that in the last 25 years... pretty much half the records you've ever heard of went through either Masterdisk or Sterling Sound?!!
