Question After your beats are done, how do you proceed?

After you have your beats together, and have found someone who wants to buy them, how do you proceed? What format do you take to the studio? Do you take the version with seperate tracks to the studio, and let the engineer put it all together or what?

Individual tracking of each sound and instrument gives the most control over the overall sound. So...

Best way is to go to the recording studio with the equipment and track it sound by sound there. <- Makes everbody happy and leaves you with fewer worries in the end.

Other ways are to use the same equipment or software so you can save the audio to a compatible media and just deliver it to the buyer. If it's a software then you can usually just save the wave files.

I have yet to sell a track as a stereo mixed version. Some cats will buy mixed beats on a cd but I just never even tried that. uSome people might even go for a stereo wave file.

Anybody ever sold a track on cd???

How about a stereo wave file???
