Hey, can I borrow 24 seconds of you guys' time?

Do me a favor. I'm trying to increase my knowledge on mixing, so lend me 24 seconds of you time and check out this song I'm mixing and mastering currently.

Link: http://scsiizbox.com/sol/master.mp3

Encoded at a bit rate of 224 kpbs, with no lowpass filters.

I'm going for a round end hip hop/R&B feel.

I hear you when you say you want the hip hop/r&b feel. It has a ton of bass. It's not woofing out on my system so maybe it's OK. I think there might be too much bass but then again, I don't do much hip hop so my opinion doesn't carry much weight there. From what little I did hear, I thought sounded VERY good though.

I agree now. I'm listening again and the bass seems to have traded warmth for amplitude. I tweaked the mix a bit and turned down the bass, although I'm not gonna upload the new file. Glad you liked the rest.
