Good buy, you'll like it. What pre's do you have?
I think you'll find that on guitar cabs, especially dirty stuff, that it has a lot of in-yer-face punch, for lack of better terms. Good clarity too. Use it on snare and vocals too.

My pre's are a pair of vintage Audix 35102's racked by Brent Averill, an ART PRO MPA that I use primarily as a DI/effects box for synth, and the on board pre's of my Yamaha O1V.
Obviously the Averill's are my main pres. I'm in the market for more though. I was thinking about a six-pack of these:


to cover drums,

and maybe a pair of these:



to augment the 35102's.

I knew it was a good vocal mic, but it sounds like its very versatile as well. Looking forward to using it. Thanks again for the heads-up!

Good kick mic, I have the same thing in a tour group version and paid $130 for it used. Better than most, IMO.

Everyone: I am searching for a Sennheiser K6 or K6P preamp, and some ME64 or ME65 capsules for it. Also looking for Sennheiser e664 and MD-409 or e609, cheap.
