I toss a nickle bet you are in the musicians friend catalog. And the package that they have put together is all nice and complete... and half un-needed. Its kind of like buying a name brand componant stereo or doing your homework and getting seperat parts for a kick ass setup. Buy the Roland VS1680 and get the effects cards. But the other stuff in the package is just fluff. The digital monitors don't sound any better than many other top monitors at half the cost. The super special Roland Mic is all nice, but same thing.. you can get a better mic for less from other companies. Odds are you will never use the $140 stand and it will be on your desk. CD's are a buck a pop at the local pc store and so on. Yes if you were going to buy all roland you save a few bucks getting the package. But if you want the best bang for the buck grab the VS unit and piece together the rest.
