roland jv-1080 and roland MT200 timing differences?

I have recorded a midi track with the MT200 and have also recorded vaoice tracks. I got a hold of a Roland jv-1080 and rerecorded the midi track. Everything went fine untill I tried to sync the voice tracks with it. I did the exact same thing on the source computer. there is a 1.5 sec difference with the MT200 and jv-1080. In other words the jv-1080 is 1.5 seconds longer than the mt200. This blew my mind. Can anyone explain this? I'm sure I did something wrong but I can't figure it out for the life of me.
