JV 1010 or JV 1080?

i'm looking at both the JV 1010 and the JV 1080 apart from price and expancions what is the differance?
What is the price differance in AUS$
Do they both start off with the same sounds?
Is the quality the same?
Which is better value?

sorry - no experience with the 1010, but i own a 1080 and it is extremely good. the flexibility is incredible, and the sounds are about as good as you can possibly get without buying a top-end sampler and a few $600 CDs of samples. the 1010 does not look like it offers the same level of control as the 1080. the one drawback to the 1080 is that it is not exactly intuitive, and it can take some time and effort to learn to use it properly. but it is certainly a professional piece of gear, and built to last. mine has been on for 24/7 for the last 2 years solid.
