Unhappy JV1010 - Saving song(s)

I would imagine this might have been answered in past threads. I did do a search but, no luck.

I have a Yamaha keyboard (not an XG series). It's a PBR-540. I can save backing tracks to user channels. I can export via MIDI. The question is, what is best to save it in. I would like to save to my notebook and reload backing tracks on the fly at live gigs.
I have calkwalk, Cubase and other software that will handle MIDI.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Bruce
