What I don't like about Cubase: Can it be fixed?

I don't have a MIDI instrument, so I enter the notes onto the piano roll individually. Unlike nTrack though, when you click on a grid, it doesn't play back the note. This makes it hard to place the notes in the right space. Is there way to have it do this?

in the upper right, I think it is, there is a little speaker icon. Make sure that the sound is enabled here and it should work. Let us know how you make out.

... it's up there with the looping icon, the midi icon, etc.

Well I'll be....
Thanks a whole lot! This is great; Cubase is getting to be the best damn sequencer I've ever used. I guess I'll have to read that big ass manual one more time to get all my kinks out, but thanks alot.
