Roland VS1680 and optional CDR

I was thinking about buying the Roland VS1680 and the CDR option it has with it. Does anyone know if the CDR option produces cd's that are red book specs? Thanks.

Yes, it does provided you carry out a finalize process. There are some disadvantages to the Roland burner, such as you can't hear fade-in's ect...
