Which came first?! Release notes for Cubase wanted!
I can't figure out which came first! I know that Cuabse SX is the latest Steinberg release though....
It took me a while to figure out that Cubasis 3.7r2 came out before Cubasis 3.0r3 (does that make sense to anyone?). Now I'm trying to figure out which Cubase came first: Was it Cubase 5.0r6 or Cubase 5.1r1? What came right before Cubase SX?

Your going to need someone who has been around since the beginning to get all the specifics (if they can remember that far back). I can tell you this much in recent history:
Cubase VST (don't know version numbers) to Cubase Score to Cubase 32/VST (v 5.1 w/updates labeled r#) to Cubase SX (released as 1.0, then updates 1.01, 1.02, 1.03, soon to be 1.05!) I don't know where the Cubasis line came in. I saw your post at cubase.net. One of your best bets would be to watch the posts both here and there...every once in a while someone will post how they have been using cubase from the beginning. If you message them they might be able to help you. Good luck! |

Um, I didn't post at Cubase.net, but, ok.
![]() Thanks for info though, I downloaded the instruction manual from the Steinberg site and that's actually what gave it away. Thanks again.
