Roland VS840EX vs VS880EX. Is it worth?

I'm now interesting in VS880EX. But according to its price which is double from 840EX. Is it worth? I think 880s' price is too much for me.. But I like the automation.. (I heard that 840EX can use automation control from sequencer is it true?). And I don't know do I need TSR balanced input? Does it any audible diffirent in inputs?
