Question Is 0.0 in master fader clipping??

So for kicks I import Strung Out's Cult of the Subterranean (the song is unimportant to the question). Looking at the meters I notice the clip light is coming on and the number is showing 0.0

Now is this producing Digital Distortion? Next logical question is can I clip my songs at 0.0 in Cubase?

0.0 should not be clipping. Anything above that is clipping and risks digital distortion, although you may not hear it occur in Cubase. You shouldn't see the clip meters go off until the signal is at least +0.1

Hope that helps.
