Who has the best prices on Samick guitars? I know they make a lot of the big dog's guitars, but how does one find out if the model is junk or not, site unseen?

Actually, yeah a lot of them do. So do a lot of epiphones and squiers and fenders. However, most of the fenders and squiers and epiphones are built by Samick at the Samick factory in Korea, so you have to know what you're looking for.

I have a Samick Ultramatic UM-4 that I absolutely LOVE!!!

It's a PRS knockoff that costs less than a third of the price, yet is 90% to 95% as good as the real thing in looks, tone, and especially "playability".

I used to be very skeptical of Samick, but the Greg Bennet Signature line of guitars are incredibly EXCELLENT for the price you pay. Gover tuners, Wilkinson Tremolo, Duncan-designed pick-ups... it's quality stuff!!!!

all the samicks that i have played were really good guitars...maybe there do a better job when "samick" is going on the headstock instead of "epiphone"
