What do these drums need?
Just recorded yesterday - one track for kick, another for snare and left and right room/toms/cymbals tracks.
The attached link shows a short little clip. I have not had a lot of experience mixing drums, so any advice on what to do NEXT would help a lot. To my ears they sound good already - (the drum sound, NOT the playing ![]() Thanks, Q.

Sounds good to me too. But you'll want to avoid using one track for snare, tom, and cymbals together. Brings you hard time in the mix. I think you should separate 'em. BTW, nice shoot, I think.

Cool -
I have four inputs so I have a track for snare, another for kick and a left and right track which is a mixdown of the overheads, toms and room mics. The clip I posted was my attempt at getting them to sit together in some sort of coherent fashion. Thanks - complete song is posted in the mixing clinic - song is called "Now I See" from - http://www.nowhereradio.com/artists/...=1746&alid=193 Ciao, Q.
