killer drum loop library??
Greetings-
I'm looking to experiment with what's out there for drum loops-rather than my trusty drum machine. Can anyone suggest a great place to find free drum loops?? Preferably loops which were played by a real drummer. Gratefully, Jeff

i think that if you have any kind of software that was madeby adic or sonic foudery, you can download free loops from:
www.acidplanet.com or sonic fouder's website. |

In my experience, the loops that you will fnd out and about tend to lack in many ways. I would recommend spending the money to purchase Drum Tools from Sonic Foundry. Drum Tools is a pretty solid staring point for Drums. Unless you have nothing but spare time for sifting through countless samples that are often not formatted properly to work as loops. Good luck.

I just purchased Drum tools a few days ago after using it in a San Diego studio. But now I find myself needing more. Not only more loops (but I'm looking for another good library too) but small things like cymbal swells and more crashes/splashes, shakers, triangle, etc...andyone know of some good libraries for things like that?

Why not just get DRUMKIT FROM HELL. It is known the world over to be the absolute best in drums. It has MANY loops, but also allows you to use over one thousand samples to make your own loops.
PM me if you're interested in knowing where to get it for very cheap! |
