I remember about a year ago that someone was spreading the word about some peice of hardware that was supposed to be the best kept secret in professional recording. You enter this into your signal chain or something and it makes all that you record sound like it was mastered in the best house in the world.
I'm guessing that every claim was substantiated as this peice of gear is now a staple in every studio today. What the hell was that thing? I want to do a search on it cause I could use a good laugh, but I can't remember. Carl

If you had said a FEW years ago, that would pretty accurately fit the description of the hype around the TC Electronics Finalizer. One year ago, though... I can't think of anything. Waves L2 maybe?
